DESCRIPTION:Gather your foursome and join us at Locust Locust Hills Golf Course (5575 N. River Rd.\, Springfield\, OH) as we play 18 holes and raise money for the children who call Arbre de Vie in Benin\, West Africa\, home. Open to everyone and a great way to support Jon & Ashley Barchus (and Tree of Life) as they share Christ’s love with the orphans and the villagers in a tangible way. \nCost: $60 per person \nPayable to: Tree of Life USA \nPayment deadline: July 16\, 2016 \nRegistration Form \nTree of Life USA is an 501(c)3 non-profit charity organization. The organization is committed to caring for orphans and children in difficult situations in Benin\, West Africa. The main focus is raising and educating the children of the orphanage in Sakete\, but also helps  sponsor many children still living in their home environments.  Additionally\, care is provided to the hurting community around the orphanage by assisting in social needs\, medical care\, and educational assistance.  Tree of Life USA was created by former Beavercreek residents\, Jon and Ashley Barchus\, who are now living in Benin as full-time volunteers\, doing the work of the ministry.

DESCRIPTION:It’s Father’s Day and BCN is celebrating with an All Church Picnic. We’ll kick things off at 11am on the south lawn. In addition to food for adults and kids\, we’ll have live music\, a car show\, games\, and more. It’s going to be a great afternoon! The event is free but you need a ticket! Tickets are available at the visitor center and the church office. \nNo morning gatherings on June 18. Join us instead as we build community outside the walls of the church.

Baby Dedication is a commitment you make as a parent to raise your child to know God as you seek grace and wisdom through this incredible journey. The church also makes a commitment to partner with you as your child learns and grows. \nFrequently Asked Questions \nWhat is Child Dedication?  \nBaby Dedication is a commitment you make as a parent to raise your child to know God\, as the church makes a commitment to partner with you as your child learns and grows. \nIs dedication the same as infant baptism or christening?  \nChild dedication is different from infant baptism or christening. While these rituals are significant for a variety of faiths\, dedication is the practice of BCN. \nWho may come with us for the dedication?  \nOnly parents and the child being dedicated and their siblings are invited to come forward for the actual dedication ceremony. We encourage you to invite other family members and friends to come that morning and witness the dedication and take pictures as your family celebrates this great day! \nI am a single parent. May I still dedicate my child?  \nAbsolutely! \nWhat is the prayer of dedication?  \nA prayer of dedication is something that you\, as parents to your child\, will write. It can be in the form of a letter to your child or a prayer offered to God on your child’s behalf. Some good things to include would be characteristics you will pray your child would have as they grow (wise\, kind\, merciful\, etc.) and perhaps a Bible verse your family prays for their life as well. There are many examples on the Internet! Remember that this is your prayer for your child and it should be what you desire for them.
