DESCRIPTION:Father’s Day celebration at Be Hope Church with special speaker\, Eddie Taubensee (Cincinnati Reds). \nGatherings at 9:00 & 11:00 AM\nAcquired in a trade with the Astros in 1994\, Eddie Taubensee settled in as the Reds starting catcher for the next six seasons. One of the stronger offensive catchers in Reds history\, Taubensee hit .290 or better three times as a Red\, compiling a career best .311 mark in 1999. On September 4 of that same year\, Taubensee hit two of the record nine home runs belted by Reds hitters in a 22-23 drubbing of the Phillies. On the season\, Taubensee hit 21 home runs and drove in 87 as the Reds won 96 games and fell only one game short of a playoff berth. Taubensee played one more year with the Cincinnati Reds before finishing his career with the Indians in 2001. \nWe are thrilled to have Eddie Taubensee as our feature speaker on Father’s Day as he shares his challenges\, his successes\, and his faith. As the current Director of Baseball Ministry for The Increase\, Eddie Taubensee is dedicated to telling of how God has changed his life through Christ as revealed through the game of baseball. Eddie now seeks to point others in baseball to seek Christ for themselves.

DESCRIPTION:LET’S SUPPORT THE MUMMERT FAMILY AND BABY FINN!\nKey Sports and the A-Team Runners are hosting a “Pave It Forward” 5k event on Saturday\, January 19 for the Mummert family and Baby Finn. Finn Charles Mummert was born on December 27\, and parents Emily (BCLC employee) and James (BCN’s NextGen Team) knew their little man was going to have a fight his entire life. Finn\, named after a stormtrooper\, is ready to power through any struggle\, especially with friends and family who’ll fight along side him. Baby Finn is currently in the NICU at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital\, receiving specialized care. \nPlease show your support for the family by making a donation and participating in this 5K Run/Walk event. Baby Finn has a fight ahead of him\, and the Mummert Family needs our love. \nRegistration is free. You also have the option to purchase a shirt for $30 (no additional fees will be charged) to receive a timing chip. You may also donate an additional amount after you’ve entered your race registration information. If you can’t/won’t run\, donations can still be made here. DESCRIPTION:On Friday November 2\, BCN is hosting a Euchre Night! All proceeds for this fundraising event will go toward the amazing\, highly-anticipated going to Night to Shine (special needs prom hosted at BCN on February 8\, 2019). Euchre Night will feature a round robin euchre tournament\, with the goal to score as many points as possible each round.
