As part of our vision to reach those for Christ within our communities and baptize 1,041 in the next 10 years, we are poised to move outside of Beavercreek and bring hope to communities we currently work, live, and study. We have felt the call to plant 3 churches within the next 18 months. Through much prayer and consideration, our first location will be Fairborn.

Because the people of Fairborn need to know that their lives can be transformed by Jesus and we will go wherever the hurting and disengaged are. A good portion of our own congregation is made up of those who travel from Fairborn every week so we are poised to partner alongside them by bringing hope to the families we live, work, and go to school with already. We have a special culture within BCN that should not be contained to our current zip code. We have a community of believers here who can be the hands and feet to Be Hope to our own community in Fairborn.

We are currently in our search for a location to call home for our Fairborn campus. Currently, we are looking at renting a space within areas of growth in the community.

The unique culture we have at BCN will carry over to our Fairborn campus so anyone walking through our doors will immediately experience the same community found at our main campus.

When it comes down to the nuts and bolts; our current model is that we will be at a mobile campus with a live band and the recorded or live message from the main campus will be used for the message portion. Next steps for spiritual growth through serving opportunities, groups, outreach and community projects, and Next Gen ministries will operate in the same manner as the main campus.

Our current staff member and life-long resident of Fairborn, Matt Scruggs, has felt the call to bring hope to his own community and prayerfully accepts the role of Campus Pastor.

Why Matt?

Matt has served on our BCN staff since July of 2014 and his role as a Technical Director has been surpassed by his love for his community and God’s calling to reach his neighbors through the unique community and culture at BCN. Matt’s connections within Fairborn and pride for his community give him the passion and purpose to carry out our vision of reaching the 1,041 for Christ.

Now. Like, right now. Work is already underway as we secure a location and begin building our teams to make our Fairborn Campus a vibrant church. We currently hold a September 2019 launch date, but want to invite you to get in on the ground floor.

We need your prayers. Prayers for God to continue to reveal His plan for this church and our role within it. We also need your prayers to consider your role within this new start. We are seeking to build a church, not just a church service. With that in mind, please prayerfully consider how you can take a next step in building this church.
