The Why

BCN’s vision is to transform our community by being someone’s first church, not simply their next church.

We seek to endanger addiction, loneliness, and the causes of divorce in our community. We will accomplish this by purposefully engaging the 104,100 people in our community who have no religious identification through personal relationships. We will position and equip ourselves to be someone’s first church, not simply their next church. Our 10-year goal is to celebrate the baptism of 1,041 people and purposefully engage them in a process of spiritual maturity. While this starts at 1850 North Fairfield, our address will not define our footprint. We see ourselves as going wherever the hurting and disengaged are with the work of BCN expanding in the Greater Dayton Area. When this happens, lives will be transformed by Jesus, families will look to BCN as an ally, community leaders will trust us, and BCN will be a beacon of hope ready to impact the Greater Dayton Area.

That’s a big paragraph to say, our 10-year vision will change lives! Please join us in taking on an active role in that. It starts with The First Step – your pledge! This First Step will culminate in the intentional remodel of our foyer and kids’ space.

The When

We are thrilled to share that contracts with the architects are finalized and our projected date to begin the remodel is March 12, 2018. That is less than one month and, with pledges totaling (to date) $439,570, we are encouraging everyone who has not get pledged to take a moment today and complete your pledge online. The How

BCNaz Kids will be positively impacted by this remodel and some of those changes will begin March 12. Kids Church and BCNaz Kids Ministries will move to the FLC (Family Life Center) for all their activities. Before we transition the kids over to the north end of the building, Mr. James will share all the details. He is currently shooting a video with directions, we will have handouts detailing everything you’ll need to know as parents, and we will be available for questions, too. We’ve got ya covered!
