Twilight: Don’t Roll the Stone

Every year I get frustrated when we are no longer in Daylight Savings Time. It’s 5:30, and it’s not supposed to be dark yet; but the sun has already set and the light has diminished. So we do what we always do, we accept the darkness and adapt.

But while it’s pointless to struggle against the sun setting quicker, it isn’t in the rest of our lives. What if we’re not supposed to simply accept the darkness that comes our way but what if we’re called to hold on to hope instead? The problem is that all too often we’ve been quick to accept the day turning into dusk in our own lives as we give up on the hope that is rightfully ours.

So how do you hold onto hope when day turns to dusk? How do we navigate Twilight?
