God is not anti-emotion. God is pro-obligation.

Switch your understanding of obligation from “something you have to do but don’t want to do” to “deciding your destiny in advance”.

We do not believe our way into our beliefs. We behave our way into our beliefs.

God gives you a structure for your faith to thrive.

Matthew 11:30

Sustaining faith is about taking emotion out of the decision to engage through obligation.
