Check out our weekly Friday connection meetings where our young adults eat together (really good food) and get to know each other better through fun and casual conversation.
We then transition to a time of discussion and reflection where we spend time on a specific discussion series. Examples of discussion series include Career & Christianity, Understanding Different Groups, Accountability, Technology and Christianity, and What Keeps You Up At Night.
We close out our connection meetings with prayer requests, praises, and closing prayer. All of this takes place every Friday from 6:30 – 8:15 PM inside the Hangar at BCN.
When we have fun – we have a LOT of fun! Whoever said that when you leave high school – all the fun ends – never spent time in our Young Adult Ministry!
How about fun filled Halloween Parties where you dress up and play a bunch of fun games? Yep! We do those! How about Christmas Parties? Yep! We do those too! And what about retreats where you share life with 18 or more young adults in a lodge located in Hocking Hills? Yep! We do that too!
Whether it be a game night, seasonal party, bowling, a talent contest, or even heading to Scene 75 – the BCN Young Adult Ministry has fun!
Christ came into this world to serve and we should likewise give to those in need.
The Young Adult Ministry completes 2-3 group Be Hope work projects each year. To date, we have cleaned out garages, restored overgrown lawns, bagged a lot of leaves, helped with after prom, and volunteered to run inflatables during BCNAZ Kidz events.
Several of our young adults are active volunteers on Sundays and Wednesday nights with folks serving as greeters, ushers, running sound, camera operators, and helping with the Creek Youth. We encourage service which helps in living out the BCN mission of Being Hope to Others.
